Catalhoyuk Turkey

Catalhoyuk was founded 9,000 years ago in the city of Konya in Cumra and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Catalhoyuk is among the earliest human settlements in history and shows a wide variety of lifestyles.

Catalhoyuk settlements consist of two hills to the east and west and have been continuously inhabited for two thousand years. The people of this area formed the first agricultural societies. Catalhoyuk has a universal meaning with its dense population, its demanding culture and art world.
